Step 2: Register on the DLT Portal Visit DLT Portal: Go to the website of your chosen DLT portal. Register as a business: Click the registration link and choose to register as a business or main entity.
Provide basic information: Fill in the required information such as your organization name, business type, contact information and authorized person information.
Step 3: Upload the required documents KYC Documents: Upload Know Your Customer (KYC) documents including PAN card, GST certificate and any other required identification documents.

Step 5: Header Registration (Sender ID). DLT Portal Login: Use your credentials to login to the DLT Portal. Register header: Go to the header registration section and request a new header (Sender ID). This is the name or number that will appear on the recipient's phone when they receive your SMS.
Approval: The portal verifies the header and approves it. You can register multiple headers if needed.
Step 6: Register the template Create templates: Once your header is approved, you need to create message templates for all types of SMS (promotional, transactional and service-related).
Submit for Approval: Submit these templates for approval. Templates must comply with TRAI guidelines and should not contain any restricted content.
Approval: The DLT portal reviews and approves the templates. Step 7: Start sending messages
SMS Gateway Integration: Once your headers and templates are approved, integrate your system with an SMS gateway provider that supports DLT compliance.
